The global media sector has changed a lot in recent years!
I will post about Vivendi (a global entertainment company) and its recent developments! Since it Vivendi is present in several media industries, in the most cases I will focus on Universal Music which is incorporated in the Vivendi Group but also give some information about the whole corporation.

Vivendi SA (formerly known as Vivendi Universal) is a French international media conglomerate with activities in music, television and film, publishing, telecommunication, the internet, and video games.
